Our therapy team had a sweet time leading a cookie-decorating activity today! 🍪🎨 What looked like fun and frosting was actually packed with purpose.
Residents followed each step of the decorating process, supporting sequencing skills and helping with reduced recall through gentle cues and repetition. Squeezing icing, placing decorations, and steadying the cookies worked those fine motor skills and hand coordination in a fun, meaningful way.
Lots of smiles, creativity, and teamwork made this activity a great reminder that therapy doesn’t have to feel like work—it can be delicious too! 💙 ... See MoreSee Less

Nothing kicks off the holiday spirit quite like the smell of gingerbread and fresh-baked cookies! 🎄🍪 Today, we had a wonderful time building gingerbread houses and decorating our own homemade cookies. A special shout-out to our amazing administrator, Sarah, who baked delicious cookies for both staff and residents to decorate and enjoy.
From colorful sprinkles to sugary icing, everyone had a chance to show off their creativity—and, of course, taste-test along the way! It was a sweet and festive way to spend time together and make joyful holiday memories. ❤️
